Description

Description from Prairie Moon Nursery:  If you’re looking for a Goldenrod that thrives in wetter conditions and/or in moist clay soils, look no further than the Ohio Goldenrod (Oligoneuron ohioense). This species can be found in sunny wet areas, marshes, fens, peat swamps, calcareous wetlands, wet sand dunes, and along the banks of rivers in the states and Canadian provinces surrounding the Great Lakes (excluding Minnesota). Most native populations are in Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan; this species is threatened in some states due to the sensitivity of its natural habitat.
