Description from Possibility Place: Lady Fern is strong-growing and dependable. It is delicate and lacy with arching fronds and dark red stems at maturity. This hardy fern is the right choice for perennial borders and woodlands. A flush of new fronds appears in the spring, with new leaves appearing throughout the growing season for a continuously fresh look. Grows 18”- 30” tall. Prefers moist, well-drained, acid soils in full to partial shade. This fern can be more tolerant of full sun if adequate moisture is provided. Needs some protection from harsh winds.
