Description

Description from Possibility Place: Showy clusters of flowers that range from purple to pink to white hang down from the tip of a single stem and nod toward the ground, giving this plant its common name, Nodding Onion. These nodding clusters attract a wide range of pollinators, including bees and butterflies. In more moist conditions, it can spread quite aggressively, and as such should be given plenty of room to move around. Spreading is less so under drier conditions. As part of the onion family, herbivores such as rabbits and deer tend to steer clear of this plant.
